Mid-Cambridge Issues Forum for City Council Candidates, Wednesday, October 20, 6 – 8:15 pm. Candidates will be interviewed on Zoom; pre-registration required.
MCNA is delighted to announce that Vice Mayor Marc McGovern and our new City Manager Louis DePasquale will reach out to Mid-Cambridge residents and explain the Cambridge budget process on Wednesday, January 18, at 630 p.m. in the Cullinane Room of Spaulding Hospital, 1575 Cambridge St.
McGovern, who also serves as finance chair of the council, and DePasquale will discuss how the Council, Manager’s Office and Budget Department work together to set and carry out the city’s financial goals every year. While interviewing for the City Manager position last year, Mr. DePasquale promised an “open door” policy, and a program of outreach and transparency to the city’s taxpayers and residents. This presentation is part of that program.
Meeting minutes from July and September have been posted under the Resources tab.
At MCNA’s monthly committee meeting held on June 1, 2016 we welcomed our newest committee member Charlotte Ikels. Charlotte is a life-long resident of Mid-Cambridge and a long-time member of MCNA. We are excited to have her on board. Welcome, Charlotte!
